Our main goal is to conceive high-quality projects. Service is a fundamental value that allows us to create an effective partnership with our clients. In order to achieve our goal, we coach all juniors by integrating them in a team of both junior and senior profiles. We also welcome interns who are often hired after completing their studies. By the way, our first interns have become architects who are now training students.
We use agile project management methodologies, more specifically Scrum and Xtreme Programming. Both methods ensure an excellent project monitoring, greater interactions with clients and improved responsiveness. Each solution is divided into units, called sprints, which are analysed, tested and delivered individually in order to form a complete solution, perfectly adapted to clients' needs.
For each project, we create a "Dream Team". We don't hesitate to help each other, which is certainly our greatest strength. To avoid monotony and to tackle new challenges, we offer our colleagues to change periodically (every 2 to 3 years) their project, client or context. It requires flexibility, rigour and a desire to keep learning. We offer many opportunities to progress and evolve thoughout their career.
We work on innovative projects in telecommunication, artificial intelligence, SmartCity,... We closely follow the latest technologies, that we test during proofs of concept before using them in our clients' projects. However, we always focus on choosing the appropriate technology regarding the project and the IT environment of our client, rather than focus on using new technologies only because they are new.
The office, bathed in natural light, allows us to work in a modern and pleasant environment. The personalized decoration highlights Wavenet's values and activities, through Denis Meyers' paintings, a Belgian artist. We work in open spaces of 12 persons each to foster teamwork. We also have meeting and phone rooms.
We organize several activities, such as sport or friday afterworks that allow us to close the week in a friendly atmosphere. Mini football and volleyball tournaments, moutain bike (VTT), running, obstacles race, glider, karting,... there is something for all tastes! These convivial moments are important to keep the family spirit of the company in spite of its expansion. They allow us to enhance communication, strengthen team spirit and integrate new colleagues.
We have put a lot of effort to provide an environmentally sound workplace. We have placed solar panels, that provide more than 50% of the energy we use. Climate-control ceilings linked to a reversible heat pump are used to heat and cool the office. This system has a low thermal inertia and can thus avoid cold draughts of traditional installations. Rainwater tanks collect water from rooftops in order to reuse it for restrooms. We also sort our waste.
Leuze-en-Hainaut is in the centre of our activity areas: Wallonia, Brussels, Lille and Paris. The pros? Avoid traffic jams like the ones in the capital region, while ensuring an attractive salary package and challenging IT projects. Some of our team members work in the office of our clients, when it is necessary to carry out their projects, which gives the opportunity to our colleagues to work closer to their home if they live for example in Liège, Charleroi, Namur, Brussels, Tournai, Mons, ...
